The life and times of a dental therapist

I qualified as a dental therapist in 1977 from the School for Dental Therapists at New Cross hospital in southeast London. Back in those days, as students our course was entirely mapped out for us on a daily basis. During our first year most of us lived in a large, 'Country Life'-style house in Sydenham Hill. The second year was spent in shared flats, mainly in the Peckham, Dulwich and Forest Hill areas.
