We are currently recruiting for an interesting and diverse new HCA post in the Coventry area.

The successful Healthcare Assistant will be experienced within Primary Care (having worked in a GP centre previously) and they’ll be keen to play an integral part in the establishment of this new, HCA role.

As a key member of the team you’ll be seeing patients in your own clinics for; Ear irrigations, New Patient and NHS Health checks, Flu vaccinations (ideally) and Blood pressure. Extra skills including Dressings and Chronic Disease reviews, will be advantageous to your application.

On the administration/triage side of the role you’ll be expected to have experience within an admin role previously. The successful HCA will play a dual role in the centre working within the office environment to triage out appointments to the relevant clinician, and will work closely with the nursing team to effectively implement this service.

Experience and knowledge of working with QoF will be ideal and you must feel confident in your medical knowledge/competency.

This vacancy will ideally suit an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to diversify and vary their day-to-day role. With a flexible split (patient facing to admin/triage duties) this gives the opportunity to be an integral part of the nursing to team and enables you to add a great skill to your CV and experience: Implementation of new patient services.
