Developments in teaching, learning, research and facilities have all contributed to making Kingston University a diverse and adaptable institution at the heart of education and economic development in the Surrey region.
Our aim is to be internationally recognised for a creative approach to education that has practical outcomes to benefit people and communities. Our purpose is to develop potential, change lives and improve the world around us. At the heart of all we do is:
Our faculties are spread across four campuses located within a four-mile radius of the historic and scenic town of Kingston upon Thames. The town has excellent transport links and is within easy reach of central London and nearby Heathrow and Gatwick airports. We also jointly operate one of our faculties with St George's, University of London, in Tooting.
Links within the community
Kingston University is proud of the growing number of links established with local organisations and businesses. The Rose Theatre, for example, hosts our graduation ceremonies and provides a venue for University staff and students to showcase work open to the public.
Diversity and equality
The University prides itself on working responsibly with the environment and fostering a culture of sustainable practices. We embrace diversity and promote equality amongst our students and staff alike. We welcome applications regardless of gender, race, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability or religious belief.
