Clinical Nurse Specialist

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with experience and knowledge of caring for patients with a palliative diagnosis. The post holder must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to provide high quality standards of care for patients and their families at all times, through innovative service delivery. This role requires a dynamic, experienced and confident nurse who can demonstrate excellent clinical skills.

The post holder will need to have a high degree of professional autonomy and be able to make critical judgements using expert knowledge, skills and experience in order to provide the highest standard of holistic care including complex symptom management to patients at the end of life. Preferably a Non- Medical Prescriber or willingness to undertake relevant qualifications and have a diploma or degree relevant to palliative care and at least three years working as a clinical nurse specialist.

The successful candidate must be prepared to work flexibly with days including the occasional weekend work and to participate in an on call rota. In addition to this the post holder must hold a valid, clean driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential.
