About the job

We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is wanting to take the role as Lead Nurse within a GP surgery in Shepperton. You'll need to be a strong leader, ideally with some management experience although it's not absolutely necessary. You'll just need to be confident with taking on additional responsibilities aside from clinical work, be able to pull a team together and ensure procedure and guidelines are up to date and adhered to teamwide.

It'll be approximately a 50/50 split across the week (clinical/managerial) as you'll need to settle into the role and learn the team, eventually this will increase to about 70% of your time spent on clinical work and only 30% on managerial duties. You'll need to work across the entire week, 5 days, start and finish times can be flexible, but you'll need to make up 35+ hours over the week.

You'll be paid £27-£32 per hour, depending on skill level and experience and you'll receive 6 weeks of annual leave, NHS pension contributions, indemnity and sick pay.

If successful you'll be joining a well esteemed GP surgery, with great patient reviews and good CQC reports to date. They have around 13,000 patients on their list and a clinical team made up of 12 GPs, 4 PNs and 5 HCAs. You'll have responsibility over the Practice Nurses and HCAs ensuring that standards are upkept, and patient satisfaction is high. You will be supported by the GPs and managerial team to ensure that you have the facilities and tools to exceed in your role with them.

To be considered please respond to this email or call Inci on 0114 275 7421.
