Would you like the chance to experience New Zealand midwifery? We are offering experienced midwives the opportunity to work with us for a year. Come and visit our beautiful country and enjoy our relaxed lifestyle with easy access to beaches and forests without sacrificing city life.

Auckland has consistently been voted one of the best places in the world to live, and we would love to share this amazing place with you. We are offering a 12 month fixed term contract to experienced midwives who would like a chance to test the water.

We have a dedicated Immigration Advisor who will help you with a working holiday visa, accommodation and travel, and we will put together a personalised package to meet your needs.

Our two maternity units are both primary and secondary care units; North Shore Hospital Unit has 3800 births and Waitakere Hospital Unit has 2800 births. Our staff are friendly and supportive and love welcoming new colleagues. We have a range of shift patterns available with plenty of opportunity to take time to explore.
