Senior Community Nurse


PHL are a growing healthcare organisation responsible for providing a variety of health care services, including the Hampshire doctors on call service (HDOCS) and a number of GP surgeries in the Hampshire area.

We are looking to recruit an experienced District or Community Night Nurse to join our team of medical professionals. The role includes undertaking direct clinical assessment over the telephone and giving advice, as well as undertaking home visits (with a driver) to provide treatment in patients’ own homes. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in providing quality, evidence based health care to meet the immediate needs of the patient.

Shifts run from 10pm – 7am and cover the whole of Hampshire. We are looking for nurses to be contracted to a number of shifts per week, but can be flexible in terms of how many shifts you would like to do.

You must hold a 1st level registration in nursing or a degree level nursing practitioner with the NMC and be able to work within our own competency and professional code of conduct undertaking appropriate continuous professional development in line with revalidation requirements. You need to have at least 3 years’ experience in community care nursing.
